Mark Itaas, the two-time Forza Underground Student Flyweight Champion has now signed a deal with Forza as one of its Athlete ambassadors.

Mark Itaas came into the Forza Underground MMA scene at the first ever event, held in the Ynares Coliseum in Pasig. He was there merely the replacement for a fighter who was injured days before the event. Despite the sudden change in the line-up, Itaas did not disappoint. He electrified the crowd of 3,011 people with a devastating stoppage, seconds into the first round which left Ezekiel Vengua (his opponent) needing special assistance as he was carried out in a stretcher.

Last December 22, in the Forza Underground II in the Filoil Flying V Arena, Mark Itaas was up against another Forza Champion in Samuel Go, a fight that would unite the belts and have a unified champion, but when Sam Go was unable to fight due to a weight issue, Gabriel Tolentino stepped up to the plate.

With a huge height difference against Itaas, he needed to use everything he could to get inside and close the distance. Although Mark Itaas’s win was somewhat controversial with a knee to the inner thigh, which looked at first as a groin shot, he is stoked to return to the cage and continue his reign as a Forza Champion.
